The Birthday Girl

This post will just be for you, for I didn't go out to get you a birthday present. This is typed while you went over to get your birthday present from our elder sis.

Growing up is part of life, and having to see through most of your growing years, I'm proud that you have grown to becoming a tall, sweet and pretty young lady.

I just can't help to tease and bully you in the house. I'm just used to it, since young when you're the crybaby and me, the stronger party. Well, that only applies if it's between the two of us, if it's three. definitely sis's strongest for she's older and much the princess of our households then.

Thinking of the days where we're having each other's company. Having tea parties at home from the snacks we got from May's canteen, the milk bottles and diapers days, the different festivals that we celebrate with our family, pouring our hearts out to each others (although i may not say it all) and the tears-flowing scenes we have, when we fell (physically or mentally). It's always nice to have a silly young sister then to cheer and jeer at.

Eveyone is simply having different characteristics. And you, Ng Wen Qi, is someone who thinks she not that strong, but is getting tougher as times passes. Is meticulous, chatty, bubbly, friendly and at the same time, silly and always full of whines to your daddy and mummy, someone who we love dearly and cherish deep from the bottom of our hearts.

Stepping into a working society just recently haven't you?New experiences for you to gain. Seeing that you're eager to find yourself a job on that particular day, makes me wonder where you get all your motivation and your guts from. Perhaps it's from your peers, or maybe it is just within you.

I always hate to see that you're saying you can't do this or that. It's not that you can't, is that you simply belittled yourself or that you don't wish to do or try to do. That's the you that I wish to kick out of the house. But, if it's not because of that, maybe, there would not be a sis like me. You must have confident in yourself and do your best. It's all about you and everything that you are relating to, your family your friends, and most importantly your future.

Dropping by to see you on your first day of work was heartwarming ya? haha. Yet made you feel so emotional later on when we're back at home after the time you spent your first day at work.

It just gave me this aching feel, as a sister to see that, you're the baby girl that we have in all of our hearts is acting in that way. Perhaps it's that I've been through all that before you, that's why I'm able to nag and talk about it. I'm really glad that you went through smoothly and are happy working ever since then. Even though it's only few weeks, this showed that you're brave aren't you?

Lady Luck has always been with you. Hope it will bestow its light on you through the rest of your life.

Continue going strong! You can do it! Enjoy yourself today with your friends i supposed, in one way or another! Life is like a book, it's you that determines how the story goes and the colors you choose to represent you. Let every other chapter in this book be as lively and exciting as can be.
